This lipstick is STUNNING. My other favorite Elixery color is Devious, which is a lovely sheer. This one is, interestingly, *super* pigmented. As another reviewer said, a thin coat still provides rich, gorgeous color. I have dark skin and this looks like a very sophisticated, matte wine-ish color on me. Almost nude for dark skin! Likely super super pretty on so many skin tones. I'm so happy with it.

Absolutely gorgeous color!
This lipstick is incredible! In person the tube looks much darker than it does on the site, but upon application the shade appears as it is shown here. I normally shy away from wine shades that read too purple, as they tend to clash with my skin tone, but as I expected this has enough red in it that it works beautifully. Because of it's insanely high pigmentation even a thin coat appears rich, deep, and almost matte, but still feels soft and luxurious. This shade is super long lasting, and a thinner coat probably won't transfer much at all. I am so sad that this is a limited edition shade. I highly recommend you try it while you can!
